Your pics of the front end show the squared off style of the '10-'13 that I like so much and really dislike about the '14's styling. It took me a second to realize you had a bug deflector on the front. I wonder if adding a bug deflector on a '14 will reduce the sloping front enough for me to appreciate it.

I agree! Although all these newer models do seem to grow on us at least a little. I'm planning on rockin this body style for a while.

Maybe. If I do the headlights, I will also do an upgrade on the bulbs, and that is pricey. For the door handles, I'm just kinda crappy at painting, and I'm not sure I care enough about it right now. But yes I do want to do it.

Well, FWIW I plastidipped my friend's FJ handles and they've held up really well. I wish I had known this before I went through the trouble of changing mine out. Would have saved some $$ too.

That said, I actually don't mind the chrome handles on the black TE conversion. Not so much on the white ones, then it's gotta go.

I actually kind of like the contrast of the chrome headlights on the black TE conversions :naughty:

If I may be nosy, what's so pricey about the new bulbs and what did you have in mind?

I meant HID projector retrofit...not just bulbs. Like what [MENTION=51186]philsey[/MENTION] did. My bad. I also want to do other stuff with the lights, like a behind the grill setup. Would prolly do that first...

My next mod is a simple firestik CB antenna while I recoup from the hefty TE conversion cost.

What are you guys doing with your old parts? I am pondering about what to do with the ever growing pile of parts I have, such as old suspension, old trim pieces, old bumper covers, etc...

^^save your old bumpers and put them on for trail runs so you don't scratch you freshly painted TE bumpers, lol
