FULL tank

i did the FULL 30k service on my car 2 months ago. plugs and filter was changed around 16k.

Miles remaining

Hey everyone! Question

With my 2021 Venture, the miles remaining doesn't go higher than 300 on a topped off full tank.

Whereas
My former 2014 SR5 Premium would at least show 368 miles remaining with a full tank.

Does anyone think I need to take it Toyota and get it checked?

I was coming back from CA and truck said 32 miles left. I knew the big truck stop was just ahead and filled 16.939 gallons. (June 2, $4.099 a gallon)

My V8 has never shown anything much higher than 300 miles remaining in the 14 years I’ve owned it. Nowhere near 400 miles, ever.

Even when all highway, I’m lucky to get over 300 miles per tank (going over 70, usually). I usually also fill up all the way to the filler cap, sometimes 2 more gallons after the filler stops. I’ve had 23+ gallon fill-ups before.

I’ve never driven in a way that would maximize mileage, e.g., trying to see how many miles I could squeeze out of a full tank. I’m not a lead foot, just not light on the gas.
