Anyone with Shoreline Blue wondering what a touch of Grey would look like on your rig.... HERE ya go! imp:

It took me a few applications of trial and error. IF you bubble or spray too close ya pretty much have to start over.


Best tip I can pass on....


Between coats keep the can warm by placing it in warm water.

I like the grey. I think you should attempt the bumper and fender flares. If it sucks, just peel it off.
On a side note, are you in an apartment complex? Because those garages look like the ones I rented when I lived there.

I did paint the front bumper but it was too much grey. I think it looked tacky so I peeled it off. A touch of grey is the way to go. :cheers:


I also painted the door handles but did not like that either. I did leave the back part of the handle so it has a two tone finish. :thumb3:

Yeah, I don't think you'd want it directly adjacent to the Shoreline Blue paint, as it's close enough in color but far enough to clash and look strange.

This came out ok I had the whole handle dipped but felt that the constant contact would cause rapid wear.
