Gamiviti: Another Full Length Roof Rack Option

That rack looks awesome! I'm in the Denver area and will be considering them when it's time to order a rack.

Any idea how high it sits from the roof at the highest point? Thanks

Very cool. I bet you're a lot less likely to have a light bar stolen when it's hidden under the fairing too.

Tim's part of my 4x4 group in Denver. He showed me your rack as I was thinking of ordering one from him. Just put in my order and am excited!

The fact that his racks are fully customization and he's willing to work with you on small details of the rack are worth it.

He doesn't have much on his website with regards to 4Runners as most of his work is for Land Cruisers. Most of the options you see on the Land Cruiser racks are available for our 4Runner.

Have you used a roof top tent on it? if so how did the installation work out?

Is the basket worth getting? What about ladders? Is it compatible with some of the popular 4runner ladder options that are out there?

I love it! Since you can customize everything about it, it's perfect for my needs.

I have! Works great once installed...

It's a little difficult with the two options I selected: full expo bars and full grid pattern. But I was able to mount the tent securely with ratcheting wrenches.

Didn't get the basket, so no idea.
As for ladders, the Gamiviti towers have a lot of adjustment that you should be able to mount the rack foward enough to fit a ladder between the rack and hatch. I have mine pretty close to the hatch, but don't have a ladder to accommodate. If I bought a ladder later, I think I can still adjust the rack to accommodate one.

We ordered and installed ours on a 2014 trail premium. Very straight forward install. The Gamiviti site has the instructions. We have an ikamper 2.0, easy enough to add and remove using ratchet and exstention. Intentionally, I wanted very little space between the roof and the rack (this is adjustable via the towers). No wind noise even at highway speeds. With RTT removed I can have the sun roof open without the buffeting. Nice Solid set-up. Good communication with Tim. Delivery was within time promised.
