Gas tank removed! But what the hell is this?

So the Haynes manual of course does not refer to this part. While removing the gas tank to replace the fuel pump, I broke a plastic hose connector and now I need to replace the entire part......can someone help? what is this part called?

this is a 2001 Toyota 4runner Limited ( the broken piece is the smaller hose connection to the left of the large one)

I just did a new pump, I had to lower the tank partially to get the hose off next to it (I don't have a check valve). I'd assume the same for that hose.

Roll-over check valve. They SHOULD be replaced when you replace a fuel pump. Very common for them to fail which will cause a stinky gas smell at the back of the truck. I had to replace them on both my 01 and 02. They go out so often, dealers usually stock 3-4 of them.

The other day I was driving and my car just slowly came to a halt while on the freeway going 65mnp. I still had power but when I pressed on the gas pedal... nothing. Towed car home, replaced fuel pump and fuel filter. EFI under hood is good. Still not starting. When I spray carb cleaner in the intake, my car starts. Also, when I disconnect the fuel line from the filter to the tank to check for pressure...nothing.... please help.

Should make a dedicated thread for this - but did you check you had voltage at the pump? Is the pump turning on? What brand is the new pump?

Battery is strong / cranks?

Is this a salt car / all rusted and nasty or a clean desert car?
