Gauge Cluster Help!

Replaced my leds on my gauge cluster and the half the odometer wouldn't show up. Would read half and missing numbers. Figured i got solder or something on the circuit board so I bought another one off eBay and did all the led's on this new one except for the odometer. Now the 4th number (tenth numbers) shows up as a "-" while all the other numbers are correct on the new odometer. The trip odometers are also messed up. I tested the cluster before soldering the led's and the odometer worked fine.

Any ideas? Insanely frustrating to say the least.

Not necessarily solder related, my odometer only reads the first 3 digits leaving the other 3 either blank or - -

I didn't do any LED change, just pulled it for a bulb replacement, I don't think I snapped it all back together correctly. Start with the simple things first and post what you find so I might even get around to fixing mine.

I had a half-lit issue when I did my LED swap. Not the same symptoms or situation as you but You could try taking it back out and cleaning the contact with 90% isopropyl alcohol. Also, the connectors are finicky so pay extra attention to getting it back in as well. Play around with it, chances are it's probably not broke.

Pictures might help. My internet guess is that you soldered some LEDs on backwards.

Can't say thanks enough!!! Went back and looked at the leds and felt like a moron. Had several facing backwards. Re-soldered them and looks great. Only took me two years riding around with a broken odometer to get around to fixing it.... but have to say it was worth the wait!
