Gave my runner the Zaino's treatment!

Well, after reading the posts and recommendations about Zaino, I took the plunge and ordered it last week. I had the chance to give the truck the full treatment yesterday afternoon. Wash, Clay Bar, z5 polish and z2 pro wax with the zfx accelerator and a topper of their new z8 spray detailer/sealer.
I have a garage full of good products from other manufacturer's that I have used over the years but I'll tell you this stuff does all it says it will. It takes a little longer then just a quick wax would, but it's well worth the effort! The truck looks fantastic and the paint is silky smooth. I didnt get to take any pics last night because by the time I got done the wheels it was dark. I will take some and post today if the rain holds off.

Since I have silver and it was new I saw no swirl marks so I did not polish (If I had or on other vehicles, I use Griot's polish and the P.C. buffer)

I f I had the time or energy I would use the Z6 and the Z8 but that would make it a whole day affair. And since I have siver (the most forgiving color) I am happy with the results of just the one type of treatment.

I gotcha. I was debating using the swirl remover polish on mine too since it's a month old and looked pretty much swirl free, but I figured I'd just give it a try first under the final polish. If I had any swirls they are definetly history now. I usually use the spray detailer right after I wash it. Prior to yetserday I was using the Meguiars zxt speed detail which also was very good. Using the Z6 between coats of Zaino kept things smooth and dust free while I polished. Z8 was used after the final polish for that extra wow factor. Personal preference and Time factor is a consideration though as I happened to have all afternoon for this project.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll skip the Z-5 since I don't have swirl marks. I picked up 100% cotton made in the USA white bath towels at Costco today for $12. Then I cut off the stitching which irritated my wife because she thought I bought them for the bathroom.

Cool! Good luck with your "Day of Zaino" I had a blast and the truck looks way better then it did when the Dealer handed me the keys in June. Also remember to use very thin coats. You'll have trouble getting it off if you lay it on too thick, or don't let it dry long enough. I found that a hot day with low humidity works well.
