Gear oil

Changed the gear oil in my diffs today. While I know it has been discussed, can I just reiterate that gear oil smells BAD. Not just BAD, but REALLY nasty! I still want to vomit 4 hours later. The flip side is that we did some fun wheeling today after it was changed.

I just put in Advanced Auto store brand. Getting it regeared next month so I didn't care what brand. 75w-90

if you think thats bad wait till you smell burnt gear oil or posi additvie that stuff is way worse

Yeah that stuff smells horrible and seems to stay around!
