Getting Scion HU how to get ipod/aux cable and where to mount?

So I just bought an 03' 4runner and want to listen to my iPhone and have aux as well. If I buy a Scion H/U do I need to buy the seperate cable thats plug in the back and do they have Aux and iPod connections?

Lastly where have you guys mounted these cables at?

Make sure you get a t1806 or t1808. You can get the Ipod wire harness & jack, and AUX harness and jack from a wrecked tc in a junk yard. Then you will have to buy the Ipod cable that goes from the jack to the ipod from a dealer. Do a search and you will find what wires you're looking for. Or you can get a cable that goes from the back directly to the Ipod on ebay.

I went the salvaged route, and I have a pretty nice setup that looks oem, rather than having a random wire sticking out of some crevice. Depends on what you're looking for though.

Shoot dreadog a PM , he just did this and said he did not need to do all the messing around and has his cable running right to glove box . Very clean set up.
