I ended up swapping the Gibson muffler with a Thrush Hush muffler (Model 17633) for ~$31. I had to add a small extension pipe b/c the Thrush was shorter... but it's about 75% quieter w/ NO DRONE!
I can hear the Thrush a little bit in the cab when under load (acceleration)... but it's barely audible when driving down the hwy. Wind noise is louder.
The Gibson was GREAT... it was just a little louder than I was looking for.
If anyone wants my Gibson muffler or the Black tip PM me.
