Gobi vs Bajarack shipping time?

I guess that all depends on how bad you need it... If I had an immediate need for it, id get something else.

If you don't need it right away, you might as well order it, and get it line. At least the clock is running and it's sure better than mulling over the lead time.

Personally I don't worry too much about the brand and aesthetics, as long as it meets my needs or takes care of the application. Just get what works.

I was so hoping mine would get here before Thanksgiving so I can install on Black Friday...

Hope your foot recovers...it's not the worst break in the world. I broke mine on the last day of Vacation in the BVIs...all they did when I got back to Dallas was put me in a boot.

Currently at 15 weeks so I know I’ve still got a ways to go but just received a generic email that seems to be a thinly veiled attempt to let me know that I won’t be seeing my rack until well into 2018 and won’t be receiving any more information :moping: They are also claiming facility upgrades are coming but with all the smoke and mirrors they pull with their lead times, who knows if that’s even true or just another fabrication. February would be 24 Weeks for me so I’m really hoping to have it by then. Unfortunate that they run business this way, makes their product attainable only for the most patient individuals! Just from seeing the past few pages of this thread several people have dropped orders from the insane wait times, you would have thought a company would have taken note by now of all the lost revenue as well as all the additional orders they would bring in if only they could deliver racks in 4-6 weeks... Just ordered mine and was told 12-16 weeks for the Stealth rack. I am used to waiting a lot longer for custom firearms so it is not too much of a deal.

I was looking at Frontrunner racks as well (which is kind of local for me). By the time I paid for installation at their shop it would have been more than the cost of the Gobi.

I have family 30 miles from the Gobi shop, so when the rack is ready I will visit the family and take advantage of the free install at that time.

I got the same email. I’m 10 weeks in and got excited when I saw the message line of the email. I expected closer to six months, so anything sooner than that is a bonus in my mind.

I think it will be worth the wait.

As annoyed as I am that it took 21 weeks, the fitment was perfect, and installation was a breeze. In the end, I got the rack I wanted. You just have to understand that Gobi is going to grossly understate their delivery time and you won't be disappointed.
 
I just ordered my Gobi through Trail Duty on Cyber Monday. Estimated ship time is 12 weeks..... Please give me the strength and patience to wait this out!!!

I never got a shipping email. A freight company just called and asked if they could deliver that day in a few hours.
