2000T4R, Replaced MAS with denso original from dealer and reseted the computer. The check engine light went off, drove it yesterday and Now the light is back on. The truck runs fine but this check engine light is like a thorn in my side and is driving me nuts. i guess i,ll have to take it to advance auto for rediagnosis. i will replace the O2 sensors next. Any takers at taking a shot at my delema. thanks.

this is a toyota/lexus specific code. p1130 means A/F sensor circuit range/performance malfunction (bank1 sensor 1) recheck your MAF or your maybe your o2 sensor driver side before the cats

A/F which means air to fuel ratio if iam not wrong. i will replace both my O2 sensors next. But i was wondering the P1130 code is related to MAS or is there a sensor specific to that error code? at the expense of sounding like a novice, please tell me where bank one sensor one is and i'll fix it.

Bank 1 sensor 1 means Driver side(Bank 1) and sensor 1 means before the the Catalectic converter.were the sensor 2 would be after the Cats. So most likely it is only one of your O2 sensor. Hope this helps

Also after replacing the O2 sensor you would still need to clear the codes using a code reader or by the disconnecting the battery method

i have almost 237,000 mile on my truck. Its been in 43 states and Its been to Alaska and back.i have owned tons of cars with horses including a range rover and a porche but this is my horse. All your help is great, keep it coming. i will change the O2 sensors. thanks ropeman

replaced the O2 sensors and cleared the computer codes. The check engine light is off and the truck seems to sound better and run better. thanks ropeman, appreciate it.

P1130 code major help needed!!!

ok heres the deal i changed both converters on my girls 00 4runner SR5 4x4 when i cut the first one out the sensor wasnt disconnected and the wires came out of the harness i thought i disconnected it... i tried plugging them in the harness it didi nt work so i had to cut the wires and make my own butt connections and now im getting the p1130 code short in the wire or bad connection is wat it is saying... i double checked my wiring its solid so what can be the problem? i brought a new sensor hoping that is it does anyone have any suggestions?? i dont now which wires go to which i got as white, white/ blue , blue and black wire going to a new iniversal bosch sensor with two white one black and one grey...im guessing i wired it wrong im hoping it didnt fry the ECM and just shorted out the sensor

hey guys, so i got the lovely P1130 today, and was wondering what Denso 02 sensors you guys are buying? is it the 2344261? In my search here I found that someone got this Denso one off of amazon Amazon.com: denso 02 sensor 2344261

this one says its for the rear? I know the code is for bank 1 which is the front right? or am i just funny and both 02 sensors the same?

Pretty sure they dont make high flow O2 sensors. I know if you get a high flow cat you need to get a rear O2 simulator.

IDK I could be wrong, haven't looked into that area much.
