I have seen a lot of you do the differential mod and drive through water. I'm still leary as to if this is a good idea, as I would think it would be tough on the wheel bearings and other parts.
Those of you who go through water alot, do you also do periodic maintenece for this? Or have you never had any problems?
Street flooding is common here and I know a lot of people end up with expensive problems in their trucks when they drive through water.
Just curious if I extend the rear diff breather if I am then good to go, at least up to the doors or radiator fan, or if there are other problems I will need to worry about. I just don't feel comfortable submerging stuff.
Thanks,
P
