Good Old Tune Up Thread

After only replacing the air filter, I've gone up .5 mpg! Keep it coming! haha

I got the muffler and going to get it installed in 30 minutes. Pictures coming.

Holy Sh!t this thing is loud! It sounds awesome and deep. You can't hear it above 50 mph. Around town though, you look like a mall crawling gangster.

Video will be later tonight.

It could honestly pass for a V8.

The guy that welded it on said the old one was a rusty can. Holes everywhere, gunked up inside.

The welds are a little goopy, but they look pretty strong!

Gained a ton of clearance! Look, I can see myself in my paint!

dude I really would like to hear the Borla in person. you need to schedule a trip. my flowmaster is few years old and is starting to rattle.

I want to hear this muffler too!

I'll be replacing my aftermarket baffled crap that was installed on mine in 3 or so weeks. I'm trying to decide if I want to go with a Magnaflow, possibly a Flowmaster (though I haven't heard Flowmasters before), or if your Borla sounds nice. I don't want anything too loud. I hate the glass pack sounding trucks with dual pipes coming straight out the rear. A nice sport tuned sound is what I'm looking for.

Post it up, but don't get the mic right in the stream of the exhaust. It'll wreck the audio clip.

He is on the West Coast, and probably still having a good dream of the Borla's sound right about now.

I am anticipating the sound as well....

Sounds good!

Probably too loud for me, I will keep my TRD catback, or whats left of it. Good purchase!
