Good Old Tune Up Thread

I just put some Seafoam in my gas tank & oil on my lunchbreak today. I don't have the balls to smoke out my work parking lot or my neighbors at home. I couldn't figure out where i could park that won't attract attention!

I said screw my neighbors and did it in the drive way.

Seafoam has definitely made a difference. Idle is smoother, possibly slightly more get-up. I drove 20 miles on the freeway to test gas mileage, but then I went off roading, so that ruin MPG.

I installed everything today! The only thing left is to replace the fluid in both differentials, transfer case, and the transmission.

It runs pretty well! Idles smooth, it's got some get up!

Time to daily drive it to school, get a job, and wheel the absolute sh!t out of it.

Nice work man, I'm going to be doing the same thing to mine here in the near future. I was wondering where you ordered all your parts from?

Cheers,
-Mike

The parts I had to order were off Amazon. All the Fluids were purchased at Autozone. Then the fuel filter, PCV Valve, and the Oil filter were purchased at the stealership.

Best 95% Highway: 21mpg (62mph in the slow lane, down hill)

I swear that when my brother used the Super Mobil HM in his Landcruiser for a year before it got totaled, his MPGs increased thanks in part to helping the old valve seals swell. We never got around to replacing the seals to know if the oil may have been the variable that aided in the increase of MPGs or it is just good PR by Mobil.

I just changed the oil again, 5,600 miles after the last time, using Super Mobil High Mileage again. The oil still looked good even after 5,600 miles.
