Hey guys.
After 11 months and 25k miles, and a 2013 F250, my 4Runner's purpose was ended. I bought the truck as a DD last july with 117k to tow a trailer and take care of farm maintenance. After realizing what I was spending on gas, it just didn't make sense for me to keep it with the new F2 and use the 4r as a dd. I went back to my orignal love of VW and picked up a new Jetta TDI. The plan now, however, is to accumulate fuel savings for a couple months (been on the same tank of diesel for the past almost two weeks, averaging 49-51 mpg on my highway commute) and pickup a project 1st or 2nd gen for a winter truck and to satisfy my 4Runner addiction, and to bring back my license plate.
That and the dealer gave me $8,900 for my 04 with 142k miles... and that's hard to turn down.
Until next time.
