I'm so jealous about the weather you have down there! The warm temps and mostly dry land would be awesome right now.
Yotaconvert and I just posted in the Gallery section about our canadian adventure which looks way different than your scenery.
Ours involved a good amount of snow which is fun to a point, but really limits the places we can go. I have to plan a road trip down there one day for sure....

damn your rides look nice.
Everytime I talk to a 4x4 shop in Hawaii about lifting my Sport...they all say they wont touch it because of the liability of taking the XREAS shock out. Three different places told me this already. Unfortunately, I am not mechanically inclined to perform such a mod.
What now?

. Also, check out tire shops, lots of them will do it as well and my finding has been they seem to care less about XREAS, you just have to explain the issue and make sure they do the install with it on the vehicle.

Any bigger and you are in some dangerous territory.
EDIT: Some guys have had issues, I can only speak for myself (and often Josh haha) but you dont hear about it much.

I did at first because I had 4Wheel Parts install the coilovers and they had them set to around 6" of lift. The CV boots would have been shredded in about a week. I now only have about 3-3.5" of lift and they don't look like they are at a bad angle. I keep an eye on them, but so far so good.

I think we are doing the rear today when he comes over since that's a 40 minute job.
They can't use a wall compressor with XREAS because they have to work on the shocks/coils without disconnecting the Xreas line. You have very limited mobility, let alone the ability to take them across the shop to a wall compressor.
It's really not a problem to disconnect the shocks from the line . ou just have to make sure all 4 wheels are off the ground and you can pull them off . One of mine has already been off with no issues. How do you think they replace a blown one .
Disclaimer , this is what I observed at the dealer and when I asked the mechanic he said there are valves in there. May lose a drop or 2 , but he said no big deal.

As of right now I am running a 3/1 with FJ front springs, I might put the rears on later today (JUST got back from getting them put on).
Currently it is a little nose high as the CF yielded about 2.5" and the FJ springs another .75", so with roughly 3.25/1. It is not as bad as you would think though.
I am excited to put my BFG MT's on, they should fill out the fender gap nicely and look nice and aggressive, not to mention that I will have MT's, for off roading
