Got my TE and FM/AM Radio Glitch

Finally got my silver TE with KDSS and NAV after 2 month of waiting on a special order(or preference order). It was a March production and April delivery.
I really enjoy the ride and handling of this truck. It rides more comfortable than my wife's Odyssey. I tested all function and they seem all work.

However, I got a radio glitch today.
I had been left the audio off since yesterday. On the way home today, I turned on the Audio and pushed FM, but there was no sound came out, it turned out that the radio could not find any signal for either FM or AM. The "st" indicator on screen kept flash out for very short time then disappeared. I tried seek, scan, and there were no station found.
But CD, XM SAT station and BT audio all worked fine.
I got home very disappointed and though of calling dealer for appointment. But after half hour, I went back to start the truck, when I turned the key, the FM/AM radio came back. Now it worked fine even I turned off or on several times.
Seems like the system had a SW type glitch like a PC or cell phone that needs a power reset.

My question is: does anybody experience the same problem on their NAV system radio? Is there a TSB that dealer aware of? Otherwise there is no point to contact the dealer as most likely it can not easily reproduced.

Never had a problem with the FM side, but sometimes the Sat Radio doesn't sync up when I'm pulling out of the garage I have to turn off the truck and start it back up to make it resync, and just powering off the radio and back on won't work. It's only happened a few times I say less then 4 since I've owned the truck.

Yes, the "stop and restart the truck" is also the workaround I I had to do to get FM/AM back. Turning on and off the radio does not solve it.

I just experienced this for the first time yesterday. I think I triggered it by putting it in reverse and then shifting into drive before the NAv had fully registered the bluetooth and stereo signal

Interesting. I've got the NAV system and so far (knock on wood), I haven't had any problems at all.

Good luck with that, that seems like thus far its just a minor neussance but I'd be annoyed if it continued to do it.

Interesting finding. There was a 4th gen thread regarding radio freezing related to shifting from park to drive. Although it is not exactly as our problem but seems radio(Bluethooth) and shifting level do have some race condition sort of when worked together.

not having that problem yet, but mine is full of static

I have a 2011 limited with the nav system and all the radio stations have static so the sound is marred by it. Also my system does not seem to have enough base coming thru no matter how we set it.
