The Garmin mount works fine. I use it for my Etrex. It comes with two types of sticky adhesive pads. I used the non-permanent adhesive pad and it has stayed in place for a year while holding the Etrex and bouncing over rough roads.I thought those mounts might have a problem b/c of the rough surface, I guess not

I can say that while I'd love to have a Garmin unit or an in-dash unit, the PDA has performed better then expected. The screen is just as big as most hand held GPS and the Routis software comes with several cool features. For the price, its not a bad option, plus in the end, you also get a nice PDA! ha ha ha
