GREAT Movies you just watched in last 7 days

Interstellar

"We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars, now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt."

+1. That is a good movie. I liked it so much I bought a copy on Bluray.

I recently saw Snowpiercer. I wouldn't say its a great movie but I liked it. Heard about it due to a youtube video that popped up in recommended. The video claimed Snowpiercer is a sequel to Charlie and the chocolate factory. Once I saw it I do have to admit there are some similarities between the movies. Never like charlie and the chocolate factory, always thought it was creepy.

Unfortunately I'm stuck taking the kids to movies like Ugly Dolls.....

Free Solo.

If you liked that, check out The Dawn Wall.

Not a fan of the Tim Burton remake either, big fan of the original with Gene Wilder (RIP).

Saw Dune over the weekend, I liked it and am looking forward to next year's remake after seeing who they've casted.

The last cool movie I watched is the Mule with Clint Eastwood. Awesome.

[Jdog]

The Highwaymen really good flick.

Last night I re-watched Reservoir Dogs (for about the 5th time), then right after it I re-watched Basic Instinct. Oddly, I thought the Tarantino film to be less violent after I re-watched Basic Instinct, maybe it was the psycho killer ethos. Either way tho, two amazing films even if they still give me nightmares!

End game, I’m sure it’s been said, just god dam good. Also watched wedding crashers on Netflix last night, classic.

Just watch Godzilla. It was OK, I wouldn't go see it again or pay full price for the show.

If you do go, you should stay for the extra scene after the credits.

Netflix "I Am Mother" is excellent.

Watched the movie The Red Pill last night and enjoyed it. Particularly that Cassie Jaye the filmmaker didn't make a film to support her point(s) of view, but one that challenged them. I think it's a film that everyone should watch.

I watched it. I agree that "The Red Pill" is a movie everyone should watch.

[For those that don't know, the movie is not referring to the reddit red pill philosophy]

Hepar I'd recommend that you watch this specific Youtube 30 minute debate because the same topics of the Red Pill movie are discussed here by JP.

Yes it was. It’s a slow reveal. Makes you think.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Here is the list of rentals I've got queued up... Not exactly sure when I'll get time.

Rentals watch:
• First Man
• Dragged across concrete
• The Favorite
• The Mule
• Green Book
• Glass
• Creed II
• Hate you give
• Sicario II

.

Also, even though it isn't a movie I can't recommend strong enough the show DARK on Netflix.

It is a German show and you'll have to deal with subtitles but it is easily HBO quality and one of the best shows on Netflix by far. Season 2 is about to come out.

Think SciFi + Horror + Murder Mystery + Time Travel

DARK - Season 1

DARK - Season 2

Took my dad to see John Wick 3, pretty entertaining.

Took my dad to see John Wick 3, pretty entertaining.

My brother and I didn't think it was as good as 1 or 2. 1 being the best and now that we watched 3 , 2 seemed a little better I guess.

3 seems to setup up something big so maybe 4 will be better.

I agree 2 is a little better, and I also agree 3 was basically a setup for part 4, entertaining none the less.

Just watched it. I liked the movie I thought it was better than 2 but no where as good as #1. The problem is the story of #1 didn't need a sequel and with 2, 3, 4 they had to make up a reason to have these movies.

That's typically the case for sequels that weren't planned from the start. Offhand the only unplanned sequel I can think of that was anywhere near the original was Terminator 2.

12 o'clock high. Oldie but a goodie.
