Why I continue to watch something that’s so distressingly sad, I’m not entirely sure. Man I miss Michael Clarke Duncan.

I was beyond impressed with "Hostiles". Sure, it has a bit of an agenda, but it really doesn't bash you over the head with it, like some movies do. I think it is by far the best western movie made in a VERY long time. The cinematography and scenery were jaw dropping. Having explored a good bit of the western US myself, they could have made the movie 10 hours and I would never have been bored. Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike have never been two of my favorite actors, but they did just fine in this.

Wife and I just watched CODA last night - one of the best movies we've seen in a long time. Well earned best picture oscar!

I thought that was just okay. Decent watch but nothing too impressive in my opinion. I mainly just watched it to see Odenkirk because I'll probably just watch anything with him in it at this point.

Since almost nothing being made today is decent, watched The Negotiator-1998. Holds up great. I really enjoyed it. On Netflix now.

Been personally more into TV shows lately, but finally got around to watching Jojo Rabbit (2019). Went in knowing almost nothing about it and with very low expectations and it was a surprisingly good film!

Recently saw Oppenheimer with some friends in the theater and it is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. I highly recommend it. It portrays the importance of keeping your morals and ethics in mind incredibly well, Oppenheimer used only logic and as we all know what happened, that lead him down a path that he didn't end up liking. It's a bit long but doesn't feel like it's dragged out unnecessarily.
