Just got around to installing mine and my power steering reservoir is also touching the metal clip on the air filter cover.
What do mean by "loosened the fasteners". Which one?

I totally could not get the hangers to work per the instructions.
After I wrapped a pc. of wire on the end of the bolt, feed it under the tray location, then couldn't get the bolt to stick thru far enough to get the nut threaded. I took the bracket downstairs into the vise, and flattened all the rounded edges...that gave me just enough to get the nut on. I actually flipped it 180 degrees from the instructions picture...and it worked fine, and nothing hit.

Philly. With the pwr steering bottle attached loosen the two bolts or nuts that have the spacers on them and move the pwr steering bottle. Then retighten. Mine is no longer touching but it is a a slight angle not exactly level. I think i have a picture of it in my budbuilt winch mount section of my photo site in my sig.
Actually i think i took the bottle off the mount. Then loosened. Then put it back on and positioned and took off the bottle to be able to tighten and finally reinstall. I dont think i could reach fasteners with it on.
There was a lot more play in the fitment than i thought there would be. I initially thought i screwed up my drill hole placement and mucked up the bracket but it was fine.

Same here but I just tossed damn rubber thingy into my spare screw box and used a longer screw to attach the hose clamp because life is too short!
I see. All my play is towards the air filter. :ybrick: I put a piece of tape between the clip and reservoir to see how much rubbing and wear it gets over time. I may elongate the holes to give me more play.
Just for the record its not nice that the one who organized the GB is having the most issues. :wtf:

My only recommendation would be to do what you suggested to yourself and re-drill the holes so that you can cant the bracket to the other side. I drilled mine (unintentionally) uneven, and it sits more toward the radiator.

Did it interfere with your battery?
I have not purchased a batt or dual set up yet.
I am thinking of moving the ground wire to that other hole visible in the photo.
I would still like to see some better pictures of the group 34 mounted :hungry:

I remounted the grounding screw closer to headlight hole....and also bent the edge of that sheet metal in a bit too.. I then wrapped the two vacumn lines in addtional plastic wrap to give some added protection to them.
Once that metal was bent it offered a little better play in the lines. As we say in the Vaginny, MD., Southern PA area....(insert a little ban go picking)..."Iz done customized myself Pa......and it come out reeeeaaalll good'n like"

Have not yet modified anything. Anybody think the constant rubbing of the clip against the reservoir will cause issues in the long run?
Extra pieces, just because that's how I installed everything - along with reading the instructions AFTER its done to see if I did it right.
