GROUP EVENT: Camping at The Cove #2. 10/4/13 - 10/7/13

whats the deal with taking the trucks out onto the trails? when i was there 3 weeks ago for an offroad event.. i was told by a friend that unless there is an event, you cant go out onto the trails.. but it seems you guys might have done that when you camped out last year.. thanks!
 
I will be in pending my school schedule. It was a blast meeting everyone last time so I'll do my best to make it.

And if we are brining RC toys, my new hobby is arial drones, so I could definitely bring that and chase everyone around at night (I could even put a bat costume on my copter for some simulated fun with Jesse1983!)

There goes Dave starting crap again!

We were given permission for limited trail driving- but nothing specific. Technically all trail rides at The Cove must be guided. As long as we are respectful (uh hum! Dave!) it should be the same this year.

lol.. ok i was just wondering.. yea i think if you're a group and seem responsible they don't mind if you ask them.. i just wasn't sure.. we were at the same campsite actually 28-31 in camp 2 for Big Dogs.. so if i go maybe i can scoop up my same sweet spot ;) i'm not a definite yet, but i'm hoping i can make it!! might even.. if it's allowed bring a quad or 2 :)

I got epic pin-stripping after owning the T4R for less than a week last year. Think of the damage I can do this time around!

Local and I am in

Looking forward to hitting the trails with some other 4Runners! Been to the Cove several times on some really technical trails with a bunch of Jeeps, so lots of stopping, repairing, going, stopping, repairing. The Jeep guys ask why I have a 4Runner and I just point to them working on the Jeeps! I work with the wife of one of the owners, so will try to get us some good access. The next weekend is a Big Dog event where 300 people will be there.

That sounds awesome! I originally was planning the event the weekend of the Big Dog's event- that's why I moved it up a week.
 
man...wish I wasn't in Texas with my kid in the middle of her Junior year when this happens. I'd love to make a road trip and get back into some woods...despite my 4Runner not being a trail rig :o.
 
Looks like a lot of fun. I won't be able to attend, though. Just not a good time of the year for me. I hope y'all have a good time, though!
