Returning from Afghanistan
Antman,
Cameron here (Bearded 1-72) I am the guy with the Blizzard White 5th Gen with all the Shrockworks products and enormous Shrockworks sticker on the front windshield per Jims (Shrockwork Owners request) Anyway I begin my redeployment back from Afghanistan on the 23rd I may make it back in time for the Cove event, quick trip to NC then back to N. Virginia. After trying to destroy our Hilux's, Prado's, and Land Cruisers to no avail over here I have a few ideas I want to run by you to see if your master craftsman self can design. I have read all the "Who Dat" comments around the DMV on my rig, so everyone know during my last rotation June 2010 to March of 2012 (yeah me) Jim from Shrockworks asked if they could use my Rig for mocking up the product line, of course I agreed and what you see is what I returned to after that extended rotation
becky myself and my Teammates have taken these various Toyotas to 12K, the deserts of RC-S/SW and the real fun terrain in the North with no hiccups out side the occasional :gun5:. anyway sorry to have been such a silent member over the past 6-7 months. Hopefully I will make it to the "Cove" if the DoD doesn't muck it up.

Lol. I don't recall the Cove pond having 20mph winds and swells the size of a three story house! We're going to be in Fisher's Island Sound for two days, I may even have to do simulated CPR in those conditions! They're going to mess with us. I'm going to be exhausted. The thought of driving back to NYC after that isn't too appealing, forget about the extra 3 hours to VA.
My sea kayak also laughs at ponds.

Just do your testing with [MENTION=47340]Titanpat57[/MENTION] and [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] in a boat next to you. There'll be plenty of wind gusts AND a simulated chemical warfare attack.

Hi guys, I was informed about this little gathering at the Cove by Brian on Expedition Portal and he suggested I check it out. I do not drive a 4runner, but a 1st gen tacoma, nicely set up for exploring life. I run a website and will be doing a tire review on a new set of Cooper's SSTs on the trip. So I hope you guys and accept another Toyota guy, even if I have a open bed and not extra seats behind the driver.
Cont me in for arriving in the evening on Friday with one other person.

So it looks like ill be comoing friday afternoon, Jeff will show up saturday morning and I believe My brother(4th gen 4runner) is coming as well. I figure Him bringing a toyota will offset my dodge and Jeffs cherokee.
Which Jeff promised no parts would fall off this year.
Also how many of you are bringing women? my wife is unsure if she should come.
