**Everyone attending needs to do one thing only:
STOP AT THE CAMP OFFICE BEFORE ENTERING THE CAMPGROUND!
If you drive by the office they will be very upset and hunt you down, lol.
I just spoke to Willis at The Cove about 10 minutes ago.
They are expecting us and we will be in Campground #2 again this year.
No need to contact them beforehand.
Let them know you are with "the 4Runner group" (in case you are driving something else, haha!)
You will pay at the office before entering.
Earliest you can arrive is 9 am Friday- which is when I should be there.
I will be picking up $100 worth of firewood shortly after I arrive for our group to use (a donation from a member who wishes to remain anonymous!)
Remember- Group photo will be Saturday at 2pm in the field across from Lake Leckszas.
Anything I'm forgetting?

Do we have to use their wood? I cant remember, one place ive camped at recently was very specific about outside wood.

Due to the introduction of non-native insect species, the USDA forest service recommends using firewood from local sources. As a convenience to our customers, we do sell local firewood. For more information, please see:

I had no idea what "local" means... but the internet gods have provided that answer. From dontmovefirewood.org :

When we say local firewood, we are referring to the closest convenient source of wood that you can find. That might be from down the street, or a state forest in your county. As a very general rule of thumb, 50 miles is too far, and 10 miles or less is best. Visit our State-by-state map to help you figure out how far is too far in your area. In many states there are rules, regulations, and quarantines that clearly state how far is too far. Always acquaint yourself with local rules and regulations when transporting wood from one jurisdiction to another.

I had a conversation with The Cove staff 2 years ago regarding firewood. They prefer us to use their wood. If you are bringing your own...hide it, lol.

just got word, the high-tech BBQ will be back, burgers and hotdogs for all Saturday night!!!! Bring some sides to share, BYOB. we will raffle off a bunch of goodies at this time.( more like the first year we did things)

We have a small camping grill that we are bringing. And potato salad.... and possibly some pumpkin cookies. Depends on how much I can get accomplished tomorrow evening.

So We plan on having a corn hole tourney for a few of the prizes. If anyone has an extra set of boards and bags Please bring them.

Not bringing the grill!?!? Watch out! That first BBQ kinda set the bar for you. I heard that guy even brought a GOBI rack to install while his techs laughed at him.
