I thought I'd update this with some initial impressions. I think through various debates we can all establish that more output does not equal better vision. It seems like a few people were confused as to what this setup actually offered and I'm convinced this is the highest quality alternative to a full blown retro I've seen...plus one advantage some might say. The retro jobs I've seen involve cutting the housing while this setup is completely plug n play (gets a little intricate but still very doable) and attaches to the existing lamp backing, thus giving you the opportunity to revert back to stock if desired without having to buy new housings.
I got off of work tonight and hopped in the car and completely forgot about the headlights, when I turned them on I was blown away. I still haven't aimed them perfectly, just enough to keep from being a nuisance, but I was parked facing a wall and these things were so bright clear and crisp, couple people walking into the bar walked in front of it and instantly remarked at how nice they were. I pulled onto the bypass and followed the cutoff as I turned...once these are aimed correctly its going to be heaven.
I decided to have a body shop do it right because I just don't have the time to fiddle with it, then I will give the cutoff pictures. Maybe this helped someone on the fence with this.
