While at the local Autozone I picked up a Bussman #24 fuse assortment with what I thought was a fuse puller. It turns out the fuse puller is also fuse tester.
It has adjustable spacing contacts so it can be used for most sizes of fuses encountered for cars. It has an internal battery and LED that lights if the fuse is good. The other end is a fuse puller. The case is sealed so once the battery goes dead that's the end of it.
The tester might be sold separately, I don't know. As I said, I thought I was getting only a puller and didn't look for it by itself. Handy little toy, worth the cost, to me, even if I were to throw out the fuses.
