Has anybody ADDED a rear sliding cargo tray?

Yup. I only wanted him to ball park price (on the parts) so I could value mine (I didn't tell him that). He gave me many reasons why it was just impossible without major modifications to the floor pan. So I thanked him and hung up.

Sliding Tray Install

I did a search and found a thread on T4R.org. The link is below:

I bought a 2018 Limited in May without the sliding tray. I did a web search and came up with the Toyota PN 58400-35010 and found prices of around $250.

At the moment, I am researching mods to determine what I want to do. I probably will not do anything until Spring 2019 as I am a little stretched for cash at this time.

that is just the slide itself, you still need the tray and a bunch of other parts. I hear its around 1000 to buy the parts and add it. you are still missing stuff with that part list as well

I know that many people take them out. But has anybody tried adding one to 2014 trail or any truck that didn't already have it?

I need a level sleeping cargo area for camping but can't find many trail editions that have the rear sliding tray.

And yes, i have searched!!

Yes, its not hard at all. I did it to my 2015. The threaded holes are already in the body, you just have to gently drill through the cover they put on them. took about 90 minutes to install, would've been less if I knew that little trick.
