Has anybody ADDED a rear sliding cargo tray?

I recently pulled mine out after leaving my rear window down for the duration of an overnight thunderstorm. I wanted to be sure to pull out the carpet beneath and put fans on it so it would dry out thoroughly. Mission accomplished. Now I am torn between using the slide to create a custom drawer (not sure this is the best means to achieve this) or leaving the unit out altogether, appreciate the added height and call it a day. I am also intrigued with the possibility of selling the tray and putting the money towards a long overdue, mild bilstien lift. What is a fair forum member price that will help someone out, but also allow me to help fund a lift if I decide to go that route? Not trying to play games. Just want to make an informed call.

I think that would depend if you want to sell it outright or swap parts too. I doubt anyone would more than an aftermarket tray would cost them, especially if you swap parts. There was a thread recently about an after market tray if you want an idea on price.
I just picked up now on craigslist Sunday,,,,just installed it this morning. works great.

Can you pm me some photos of your cargo area? I've considered getting rid of my slide for ARB drawers but want to see if your parts would fit mine.

Here's what i removed to install the sliding tray, Simple swap, took about an hour to remove and install. Had to drill 2 holes to mount the sliding tray hardware.
The removed parts are:
1. Carpet
2. Cargo Rubber Mat
3. Foam padding under carpet
4. Panel for compartment behind the seats
5. 2 Mounting brakets for Panel
6. 2 hook plate mounts

No it is not, not even close I think someone posted a number once that was at least an order of magnitude higher.

I specifically ordered mine without the slider. Seemed to be in all the ones I looked at.
My dealership (parts guy) said it was impossible to add the sliding tray unless it was done at the factory. He claims the floor pan of the receiving vehicle would need to be removed/replaced due to missing cross braces and/or structure below the floor pan.
I find this hard to believe.
Did your's just bolt right in?
I'm only asking as I'm selling mine... I'd like to make sure it'll actually work for the next person!

Yup. I only wanted him to ball park price (on the parts) so I could value mine (I didn't tell him that). He gave me many reasons why it was just impossible without major modifications to the floor pan. So I thanked him and hung up.
