Has anyone painted their stock SR5 rims?

I painted mine in probably June, so far the only damage was done from having new Duratrac's installed and even that was pretty minimal. Well worth the effort in my opinion. I've done this on multiple vehicles, 4R, WRX, Tacoma, FJ you get the idea. The second shot is in late October. No issues so far and I spent the whole summer on gravel roads to go mountain biking and hiking.

I would rather have someone do it for me vs me trying it. What you do by doing this is diluting information. When the original thread on wheel painting was started (and its still the same process today) there would be 30 responses with cool info. A few months later when a new thread on the same subject started up there would be fewer responses. Now that you have started the nth thread on the same subject you will only get a few responses. The best information is almost always in the original thread. Same for the TE hood, lift kit and the other threads. You can start all the threads you want but be advised therw is probably a thread already on it that will have more info that you will get with the additional thread.
Let the moderators know they should post this as a "rule" of this forum. Until then I'm sure others will (and they have done) what I'm doing. With my experience when I post something in an old thread the members are no longer members and/or the responses are weak.

Hey I'm just trying to help you out. It's obvious by your questions you know nothing about modding or 4Runners. Going back through the previous threads is a chance to learn something. I access old threads all the time because there is valuable information there. Good luck.
Look I get it and I do frequent old threads ALOT! I only post a new one when I think old threads don't have enough info or nobody has posted there for a while.

Starting threads when you know the same one is out there is 10 times worse than a new person who doesn't know any better.

If you're one of those guys with too much time on your hands and you don't have anything better to do than post up every two minutes making pointless threads or just letting us know what's on your mind at that very second, then this forum is not for you.
