Has anyone put a newer front clip on a 1gen?

Ive looked around a lot before making a thread but all I see is 3rd or 4th gen to 2nd gen. I need to fix the areas around my tail lights and thought about molding some newer lights in there and it got me thinking about doing the same on the front. I dont want newer fenders as I like the box style of the first gen but a new grill, head lights and corner lamps would deff be one of a kind! If you guys thinks this is sacrilegious also let me know! hahahah I dont want to be "that guy"!

I've seen a 4Runner with a 82 truck front clip, but not the other way.

Besides just ziptieing a grill on, non of the core support stuff lines up.

So, to make it look right, would be a bit of cutting and welding.

in all seriousness, if you could get a front clip for a few hundred bucks, fenders, hood, etc, I don't think it'd be that difficult... it'd actually be fun.. I've been trying my hand at welding its quiet enjoyable
