Has anyone removed the chrome trim from the front of a Limited? I. Wondering if it’s just a snap-in piece or if it’s held in place with screws. Does anyone have directions for removing it?

It does snap it but looks horrible if removed. You have to take the whole bumper off to get to the back of it btw.
Most people just paint or plastidip it black or replace it with a real bumper.

It’s held in by plastic clips. You’ll need to take the bumper off to access them

I used Plasti-Dip to black it all out a few years ago. I removed it all when the Plasti-Dip started to peel on the edges and from rock chips. I was thinking that if I remove the pieces when I re-apply this time, I may have a better finish.
Or maybe I’ll just take my time and do it better this time.
How much trouble is it to remove the whole front bumper?

Removing the limited bumper is very simple. It’s same as removing TRD bumper. Takes me about 5-10 to remove.

If you're going to take the piece off the bumper, why not vinyl wrap it instead for more durability? I might be doing that this spring.

That was actually my original plan. But then I started thinking that if the Plasti-Dip gets a rock chip and starts peeling, I can re-spray it. If the Vinyl wrap starts to peel or gets cut in any way, I would need to get it redone.
If you or anyone has input as to the durability and cost of vinyl wrap, I would love to hear it.
I have plasti dipped a lot of my car exactly for this reason as well as removed my front bumper. Both are easy but relatively tedious. For plasti dipping, it’s nice if you mess up because you can tape off and re spray like you said. It’s a lot cheaper option and personally, I like the Matte black finish. You can also order different colored plasti dip online but I prefer black. As for the bumper, it’s really an easy process. Just look up a video on YouTube and follow along. It’s just the removal of some simple screw and maybe a scary little tug at the front bumper. (I say scary because mine was kinda stuck and I thought I was gonna rip it off but it went fine and I could do it again in less than 30 minutes). My suggestion would be to YouTube it but if your feeling brave, any logical person could look around and see what needs to be removed. It may just take longer. Good luck!

I went to a local shop to get a quote on a vinyl crap chrome delete, along with tinting the front windows to match the back. They came back with $1925! I had hoped to get it done for about $500. I really underestimated what having something vinyl wrapped costs. That's why I figured I could give it a shot myself and do a little over time.

I wrapped my 2015. it cost me around $200. As far as durability, I never got a chip in it and after 5 years it never started to peel. I recently traded it in for a 2020 nightshade and plan on doing the same wrap. I cant post a picture for whatever reason but one should be in my post history or profile.
