Has anyone tried this product?

Amazon.com: 32oz. Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine: Automotive

The winters get quite cold here so it is difficult to hand wash like I do in the other seasons. The product seems to have excellent reviews. I was thinking- perhaps taking the T4R to a touch less car wash and follow it up with this to get rid of whatever the wash was unable to get at.

What do you guys think/ suggest?

Just be careful the 'touchless' carewash you go to does not use brushes to clean the rims. I have been to a few of them that are touchless but they have these brushes that extend to get the brake dust off, but in the winter with all the sand on the road it can stay in the brushes and scratch the %$&^ out of your rims.

ONR is great. a touchless followed by a once over with ONR will give you excellent results. try mixing the ONR into your regular bucket wash too. youll be amazed how the dirt and grit slips right off the paint like it's in suspension.

I use ONR every weekend unless it's raining. Great as a clay lube also. Essential for keeping your ride looking it's best. After you dry with a waffle towel, follow it up with Optimum Spray Wax for extra winter protection. Slick stuff.

Remember to use the 2 bucket method. Get the large 128 oz container of ONR from Detailed Image - Premium Auto Detailing and Car Care Products.

you can plunk a grit guard into a single bucket too...
x2 on the ONR as a clay lube... you can also dilute for a quik detailer...
x3 on the optimum spray wax. that stuff is amazing.

Gents, I had a BMW 328 before my 4Runner and those people know about keeping their ride looking good and detailing.

Go to BIMMERPOST | BMW Forum, BMW News and BMW Blog and look at the wash/wax/detailing section. Those guys take this stuff really seriously and know what they are talking about. I became a weekend hobby detailer in the process and carried it over to my 4Runner.

I suggest using sealants rather than wax for your last step protection. It last much, much longer.

'x2 on the ONR as a clay lube' - Are you suggesting that using ONR will be a good substitute for me clay baring the truck before polishing it? If that is the case- that would be awesome! I hate the clay baring part because it takes so long and it is tedious.

ONR might be used as a clay LUBRICATOR, not a clay bar substitution.

no, i mean you can dilute the ONR to make a quick detailer/clay lube, so that when you clay bar the truck it goes much easier and does a better job. the bar will glide over the paint much easier.

none. you just spray it on and wipe it off in sections with a microfiber.

ONR products are great. if you saw the condition of my truck this morning (total mess) you would consider me a laughably poor representative but, hey, it's wintertime... and it is a truck, after all.

If you referencing to a 'hazing' as a white residue, I usually do not see it using spay waxes because they are applied using WOWO (Wipe On, Wipe Off) method, no drying time needed.

Depending on the temperature and the humidity, you may see some haziness. Lightly buff the surface with a Cobra Microfiber Towel and you will see the increase in gloss right away.

I use Eagle One nanowax and it does not leave any white/haze, but the Meguiars I used did leave white/haze..guess I need to WO more! Is Amazon the best place to buy the ONR?

Thanks for clearing that up Sandcrawler. I am really happy to see that others also like this product a great deal. I was just feeling uncomfortable with the idea of not having enough water to get the dirt off and hence possibly scratching the paint. However, those worries have been addressed!
