Have you named your T4R?

I have owned mine for about 12 years, but didn't name her until today. Sometimes I hate her, but more often I love her. Up until now, I hadn't thought of a fitting name. I couldn't call her my favorite "mule" name - Bessie - because I had named the old Pathfinder I used to own Bessie.

She and I have been through a lot in those years. Driving her home from getting shod with Wildpeak A/T3's today, I was thinking that I have GOT to name her.

I looked up "names for female mules". One of them struck me, because I like the name and I love the 2 songs of that name.

Today she became.....Jolene.

Unless some characteristic of it jumps out at you already, it might be good to wait until it reveals its "personality" to you. That way you have less of a chance of changing its name later.

I have never named my cars. Family never did either so it just never was a thing for me.

I have always named my cars. Its weird, I get personally invested in my vehicles. My wife laughs at me, but its kind of a ritual naming a new vehicle for me.

Currently I drive my 1997 Sunfire Red Pearl Runner, named "Red October," or just affectionately "Red."

I'm just finishing a build for my wife, its a 1999 Limited, named "Black Bart." (Guess what color...lol)

All the vehicle names aren't color based. 2011 Taco was named "Tex", and my 96 Geo Tracker was named "Sylvester", or "Sly" for short

I don’t like naming my trucks. I call my 4runner “The 4Runner” and sometime I’ll call her the “4Banger” she’s a v6, but I like the name 4Banger. Lol

"The Foreigner". Or "Dads truck".
Then there's my 68 F100 called "Dads truck".
Wifes Dodge Ram is "Moms truck".
Our Dodge Magnum is "the white car".
Then there's "the quad", and Dads bike, and the "black bike", and "Moms bike".
