I’ve had a ton of issues with the forum so I haven’t updated in quite some time.

Added an Orange Boxx Fab molle panel to the interior behind the plastic window.
Added an LC80 snorkel.
Started my swing out build on the NWTI bumper. Still trying to figure out how I want to make the left side swing out so I haven’t worked on it yet minus the hinge and brackets.
Still getting the 4lo light illumination during freeway speed so chasing that down. Bought an Innova 5610 scanner and found a communication error so I need to start checking grounds and wires. Probably work on that this weekend.
Also looking at an Aegon Iron Work roof rack and will probably add that here in a few weeks.

Ordered a roof rack from Aegon Iron Work the other day. Can’t wait to finally replace the stock roof rack. Sucks that it won’t be here for a month I’ll post the build and install once it’s here.

Haven’t posted for quite some time. Last few times I tried the forum kept crashing so maybe it’s will work. I’ve had to do quite a bit lately keeping this old girl on the road besides adding extras here and there. Added the Aegon Ironworks roof rack and shortly after that I ordered their awning brackets. I was finally able to install my ARB awning that’s been collecting dust in the garage.

I was chasing a strange noise for a while so I replaced inner and outer tie rods with new Triple 5’s. Replaced lower ball joints with Triple 5’s and the ball joints in the JBA uppers with the Mevotech TTX units. Also replaced the rear sway bar end links with 2nd gen T4R units.

Got around to replacing the transfer case output seals that were leaking and it felt like there was some play in the u-joint at the rear diff so I replaced that with a Dana/Spicer 5-1510x.

Planning on replacing the gear oil in both diffs soon and really need to do a coolant flush.

Just did over 900 miles through southern Utah and Central Nevada over the 4th of July holiday hitting as many dirt roads and trails along the way to stay off pavement and this rig still doesn’t miss a beat.

Put the Silver Cow on a diet this weekend. Ordered RCI aluminum engine and transmission skid plates to replace the heavy steel homemade ones I’d built. I’m still waiting for the transmission skid to ship but the engine skid is in place. The also sent free catalytic converter guards with the order so I’ll get them installed with the trans skid once it’s here. I finally modified my RCI gas tank skid to prevent any contact with the rear diff yoke after some inspiration from Alex Woods LostintheWoodsT4R on IG. I made a small cubby for the rear out of HDPE sheet plastic to keep extra coolant and chemicals in place. Also picked up a Lumberjack Engineering light mount and KC Cyclone for the rear hatch but haven’t wired that in yet. Maybe when it’s not one million degrees outside.
