having problems after replacing motor

hey i have a 85 runner, replaced the motor cause i threw #4 rod used all my old sensors manifolds etc.. i dropped it back in hooked everything back upp and now i have 3 plug ins i cant find where any of them go, the first one is black, second one is blue with a black stripe and third one had two wires, one white with red and the other white with green, the first one is obviously a ground but for what? and the second two? the first two are both located on the pasenger side and the third runs through the intake up near the valve cover and help would be great cause my truck wont even roll over no clicking from the starter just a sound of a spark and fuel pump, and i checked all fuses and there all fine

The green connector is for your AC "idle up valve" thingy which is optional. The connector on the lower passenger side goes to your starter.

ok thanks, but the lower wire is only 1'' long or so and the starter isooked up brown on brown tabs, and what would the ground be for?, ac?

there is a little wire going to the very bottom of the starter to kick the gears into place... it's a common mistake to forget to plug it in.. even i did it on mine a few weeks ago whe i put the motor back in.

but there arre no more places to plug into the starter and neither wire is long enough to reach the starter at all there is just the little short one and the one that is a ground but i have no clue what for

did you check your battery, when i first put mine back together the stereo had drained the battery enough that the relay would not kick.... if you dont here a clicking when you try to crank it i'd say try hooking up the charger for a bit, then try again.

as far as the wires are concerned.. there is a site floating around with all the differend wiring schematics for all models and years. i'd give it a google and see if you can find anything.
