And to the op: my head unit started rebooting multiple times a day. I deleted and then reestablished the phone and hu connections and no reboots since.

Well, reading this is disheartening... How bad is the Entune Premium? I am buying a 2015 TEP with Entune Premium, and I was hoping for good functionality from everything. Can anyone give me honest feedback about the following:

1) How is the sound quality? I am reading XM quality sucks, but I'm not a fan of XM anyway... Streaming Pandora is decent from iOS?
2) Phone call quality. How are hands free calls? Is road noise an issue?
3) Any other bugs to speak of -- other than a firmware need?

Thanks for allowing me to hijack. I hate reading this when I am in the middle of getting a new car. Ugh...

Dont worry about it! Mine is great... UI is a bit clunky but everything works as expected and sounds great... except for XM / FM etc... but I stream pandora or mp3's from my phone and it sounds great! :car:

I agree - Entune usability is terrible. The interface reminds me of website design from the last century. Amazingly enough, the Entune voice command system has just been ranked #1 for user interaction and intuitive use by AAA! Those other systems must be really awful.

Well considering the entune system is brought to you by the same wonderful company that brought us the blackberry... that explains the antiquated UI. That is part of the reason they're practically bankrupt. They couldn't upgrade their UI fast enough.

has anyone else noticed that XM audio quality is horrible?

When streaming pandora its much better... Guessing because the bitrates are higher...

I don't have the JBL system but wondering if it sounds any better than what comes in the Trail Premium? /offtopicsortof

in the entune app you can check a box to have higher bitrate, but you better have an UDP or very high data plan.

I have noticed in most vehicles XM is poorer quality, kinda sounds like a tin can. It's especially bad in ford vehicles with the Sony sound system.
