Hey guys,
Can anyone give me a quick run through on how to adjust the headlight bulbs on my 98 4runner? I see these metal wire clips, not sure how to use them to adjust.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Your sig says you have HID retrofits... Do you only have HIDs, or do you have projectors too?

Also, not sure what metal wire clips you have, but those aren't what you're adjusting... lol

So the procedure would be:

Remove HID bulbs
Install Halogen bulbs

HID's shit out and are gone. going with standard H4/9003 LEDs, no projectors. the wire clips look like a wire bracket that fits under one of the three screws on the housing. Can take pics if necessary.

Adjustment is done with the 10mm grey plastic adjuster nuts, there's 2 of each housing, ones on the bottom outside and you can get it easily through the hole in the core support, the other is on the top inside and is a little trickier to get to.

Easy way is a Phillips screwdriver stuck vertically down to engage the gear cut into the adjusting nut. Needs to be a long stem to do the lower one but it works like a charm. There is a channel built into the light for this purpose.

When in doubt, RTFM:
