heater lights

Lights went out in the climate control. Is it easy to get to the bulb or bulbs? Its a 1st gen.

Before you start pulling the dash apart, did you check the fuses?

pull the knobs, and use a tiny blade, or screwdriver and carefully pry the face off. it just snaps in place. I usually pry it from the right side.

you'll see how to access the lights after that.

yah I had to do the same thing. I have yet to get a new bulb.. the fuse is fine

Yep fuse is good. The plastic for the face is suspect though. So im ignoring it for now. I fear of cracking it.

what year is it?

there is something about the 87's, every face ive seen broken has been in an 87, none in any other years.
and they were all broke in the same spot. looked like someone just poked their finger through just to the right of the center.

Well i just went for it and succes no cracks. Put the mini 74 bulb in and we are illuminated

my face never cracked, it just bends a lot. I'll have to get a new bulb as well. It's irritating not being able to see at night!
