That actually looks darn good with the larger lights just sticking in front of the bumper. It's good to know the larger lights fitment works. I've been looking at larger glass units if my plastic lens ones prove to be a pain in the arse.
I've also been eying the Hella 2020 dual fog/driving lights. Their only 2.5" tall but around 6" wide. It be easy to add another factory fog switch and wire the other set of lights.

I recommend replacing the OEM fog lights with light pods. I was given two Rigid Industries 2x2 light pods, and they fit perfectly in the OEM brackets. It is amazing how everything went together perfectly and i am surprised at how well everything looks. The lights are probably brighter than any purpose-built fog lights or OEM replacements. You can wire it up nicely, and the best thing is that you dont have to add switches on the inside of the car,
the normal fog light switch still works. Highly recommended, and good luck!

The 96-98 use a different setup than the 99+ models. Bumper trim etc.....

That's ok, that's why it's been so hard finding a replacement for the factory Hellas. And it looks like the Blazer C8011 (trapezoid beam pattern) and the C8010 (flood beam pattern are all that's out there.

So now I have fog light envy, and will probably yank the HID-equipped Hellas that I put on my minivan. I sort of feel bad for the poor van to cannibalize

Following this thread and I have a question. What's a good OEM-ish fog light switch that will fit in the standard blank spots on the dash to the left of the steering wheel? I've seen the ones that came with the hella add-on option, but I assume it's also no longer available too.

I bought 1 for the 97 puppy hauler. Let me see if I can dig up the info. All I did was google the part number on the switch. Think I paid around 15 for it. It was an exact match to the broken one.

OK, thanks. I guess I just assumed it would be NLA like the fog lights. Here's one I found on eBay. I assume it fits the normal hole size.

Installed the Blazer C8010's floods on the 97 Limited Puppy Hauler. Bought them at TSC. Could have paid a lot less ordering them on eBay etc but wanted now. 20 each instead of 8 or so......
I had to build a Pachard weather pack female connector for one of them because I was 1 short. Happily going to the local Napa I was able to get a male and female connector kit for 4.77. (That's a male and female body and the male and female pins and the 4 gray seals)
Installed the lights and no ticky no workie. Found the relay and fuse beside the battery and the relay was a chunk of rust. Replaced the relay and it works. But I'm not happy that the relay is energized to keep the fogs off when they shouldn't be. It's another battery drain.

On the “factory” wiring, I saw the relay but is there a separate fuse too? Mine stopped working and I couldn’t find a fuse to check so was wondering if I should just replace the relay. It’s hard to get too without disconnecting the battery. Any chance you remember what the part number for the relay is?

It's a generic 30a automotive relay. But yea, the fuse should be beside the battery also. It was a dealer installed option. I was able to remove the battery hold down and slide the battery enough to get to them.
By now your relay is rusting apart. Both my 97's had the relay terminals rust off and I had to dig them out of the connector.
And just so you know, depending on if you have the switch on or off it will be a battery drain if you don't drive your rig much. I forget......

So I got a 2000 that is wired for fog lamps but does not have the lights or a switch on the dash, where would the stock switch be located? I found a 4Runner at the local junkyard that has both fog lamps but if I don't have the wiring for a switch, what would they be connected to?
