Hella Horn Owners

I installed my Hella Horns yesterday and was surprised by the sound they made. They are definitely loud but the sound is "unique" (kind of hard to describe). Hella horn owners, does this sound familiar or
could I have faulty horns?

What did you install? The Twin-Tone series?

They definitely have a unique sound. Kind of like a high pitch dual tinny type sound. Really hard to explain.

They do get peoples attention though.

If I had it all to do over again, I probably would have been rummaging through junk yards to find some Cadillac dual horns. I sure miss the sound of that '65 Caddy!
