Guess it's time for an Introduction. I got hooked on Toyota a few years ago with a Tacoma. I was towing our Camper all over the place. It wasn't long before I got my first 4x4, and got hooked on offroading. That was an 09 (picture below).

I have since purchased a very nice 97 4Runner for a "fun" vehicle. 4wd, 3.4L Limited no locker. I fell in love with it, it has turned into my Daily Driver.. I ordered a Lockright for it last week, and am doing the trans Cooler this weekend. I will also remove the Steps from it.. My intent, is to make it a BAD ASS trail rig, but slowly over time. Thanks for the Great resource!

Great start! BTW, Pure 98 mounted his CB antenna on the rear of his truck, so check his rig out (very cool also).

Cool, thanks.. I will keep an eye out for him. I am nursing my Knee, I cut it open pretty good doing the Trans Cooler tonight. Freaking Sharp License plate.. ouch! My Blood looked fairly similar to the tranny fluid on the driveway in the dark..

Thanks! I finally got my Trans Cooler on, those 13 year old hoses were a PITA! I cut my knee wide open with the freaking sharp license plate.. I have now bled for this truck.. Took the Steps off too, Locker going in next weekend. I love this thing.. I am HOOKED! Need good cheap sliders.. suggestions?

I ordered Sliders for my Taco a little more than a month ago.. $500.00! More than I want to spend on my 4Runner and don't want to wait that long. I think you can get some for 4xInnovations for like 250 or so... There is another guy around here that makes cages, and chrome moly Race car stuff.. Said he was interested in making some slider because his biz is kinda slow. Same tools, why not?
