Young or poor basic math still applies. Drive X miles will need X amount of fuel so there is no saving money. If things are so tight that filling up must wait an extra day you may want to consider selling your expensive truck and buying something used and cheaper.
Being told the truth is neither mean or being bullied. However taking ones self too seriously is usually a sign of immaturity.
Good luck.
The truth is not what bothers me, it's the rude comments that annoy me
As for the most of you who had something clever to say, you're all a bunch bullies.
Someone not too long ago on this site said that this was the rudest forum he/she has been on, and I hate to admit it but I think its true. A lot of users go to these forums to learn more about their vehicle, so yeah, we might not know as much, but that doesn't mean you can bash another forum member for it.
If i could have more than 1/4 gas in my tank all the time, that would be amazing but I'm fairly young and don't make a lot of money and gas has been crazy expensive lately.
Thanks to Harper and anyone else that was actually helpful.
ha! youth ≠ cultural illiteracyI was going to post that exact (tired old) joke, but then figured this audience was waaaay too young to get it.
:drum:

actually, not running your gas tank dry is pretty much Driving For Dummies 101. nothing to do with "learning about your vehicle." if you think this forum is rude you should really get out more.Someone not too long ago on this site said that this was the rudest forum he/she has been on, and I hate to admit it but I think its true. #1 whether you buy that gas you need this week or next it's the same amount of gas. running your tank dry is going to cost you...wait for it... more!If i could have more than 1/4 gas in my tank all the time, that would be amazing but I'm fairly young and don't make a lot of money and gas has been crazy expensive lately.
Finally had the chance to pick up a set in LGM, and I am very pleased with them! Special thanks to Dustin @ FN Wheels for going above and beyond throughout the whole process. He was a very professional and accommodating seller and I couldn't wish for more. I had them installed at a local Phillips Tire Co with some Michelin LTX MS2. Here is a pic after I gave it a wash:

The OP can't get flamed - Flames require fuel right?

This reminds me of a gentleman who frequents my apartment complex regularly. Pulls up in his 1500HD on chromed out 22s and then proceeds to pick through the dumpster for cans. Priorities?
you're right, i didn't know that story. the only story i know is the one you told in the first post of this thread and the end of that story is still the same: stop running your gas tank dry.sandcrawler I got new wheels because I sold the old ones for more than these and it was time to get new tires, and yeah 20" tires cost more than 17" tires so overall I saved money,... If you don't know the whole story, then please just shut up.
And in regards to my mishaps, I didn't have my wallet on me the first time it happened, did anyone catch that?

Honestly, nobody means any harm. You posted something that a reasonable person could consider mildly silly and they are just having some fun.
