Help! Bilstein 5100 with > 2 inches of rear lift

Need some quick reassurance. I just had the following lift installed: Bilstein 5100 front (1.75 inch lift) and rear Bilstein 5100 with OME 895e coils (net 2.25 inches of lift).

I have not had any issues in the 1 day of driving with this setup; however, I am worried that the rear Bilsteins will be stressed in someway by the amount of rear lift achieved with the 895e's (currently about 2.25 inches of lift).

I don't do much offroading. Is my rear setup okay, or am I going to over extend the rear Bilsteins? Thanks in advance from a newbie.

I definitely don't think you'll over extend them. If anything they're ideally mated with 3" rear lift coils like what you'd get with the 890s or 891s. That's what I am running but I have a 3rd gen so I'm not completely sure about yours.

Without knowing what part numbers are used for the rear, you will not know if they are too long or too short. Please provide part numbers used on the shocks so that people here in the community can help you determine if you have the correct shocks.

Generally speaking, Toytec is very good about sending the correct products. I, personally, feel that you will not have any issues.

But the only way to be 100% certain, is to obtain the part numbers off of the actual shocks. Not off of your invoice.

If you used the correct rear 5100 you'll be fine, those 895e will settle to around 1.75". Lots of people get 2.25" out of the rear toytec super flex springs On the 5th gen and run 5100's.

The correct REAR p/n is 33-187174 and Bilstein says the are suitable for 0-2" lifts. These should be fine once the new springs settle a bit.

Thank you for the reassurance. I confirmed that I do indeed have the correct rear shocks, and I have noticed a little settling already. Hoping for closer to 1.75 as stated above. I'll let you all know if I run into any issues!
