Help me decide.

Well, I think my little HF 90 FC welder is on it's way out, after at least 4 years of good service. The trigger is beginning to stick like crazy, no matter how many times I take it apart and clean it.

I've been looking at them for a while, but have really been doing research lately, because I'm about to start on some decent projects.

While I would LOVE to go with the Millermatic 211 MVP, 1) it's WAY out of the price range right now, and 2) I don't have a dedicated 230v anywhere NEAR the garage.

I've got two, that I'm thinking of, and want to know what you guys think, Millermatic 141 MIG, and the Hobart 140.

Now, these are both MIG/Flux welders.

Really, the only difference(s) between these two, that I can tell, is that the Miller is Spool Gun ready, should I ever decide to do aluminum. And 1/16" of material thickness, where the Miller does from 24ga-3/16, and the Hobart does 24ga-1/4".

What do you guys think? Think the "Auto Set" feature and the optional spool gun are worth it for 82 dollars more?

Help Me Decide - 1997 4-Runner ECM

The mechanic says my ECM is not sending a spark signal to the engine. Car won't start. It is a 1997 Manual V6 ECM Part is: 89661-3D310. I am the original owner and car is in very good condition. Any advise on being able to repair the ECM or finding one somewhere. Toyota has obsoleted the part. Wreckers don't have anything that old. What can I do to save this beauty?

For that price it's probably worth it to go Miller but you do know Hobart is like Miller Lite don't you? Read the forums and some of the slightly larger machines are rated better for arc quality and such. Or do what I did.

When the 210 MVP first came out (I know it's not the current model) I bought the Hobart Handler 210 (Only 220V) on clearance. At the time it was cheaper than the Handler 190 so I felt better about it. Still haven't converted to MIG even though I already bought a bottle of 75/25. I really want to start playing...
