Help replacing O2 Sensor. Do I have the right part?

So my beloved 97 threw me a code today...two in fact.
P0133- Bank 1 Sensor 1 Slow Response
P0130- Bank 1 Sensor 1 Circuit Malfunction

I am assuming this means my Sensor is no longer working correctly. I found a nice writeup here: 4x4Wire - Tech: Time to Replace the O2 Sensor on your 3rd Gen Toyota?

I figured not too bad, I can do this. I called up my local dealer and was told the part would be $199. I'm pretty sure I'm getting the shaft here as this guy bought the part for $140.
So I look at Amazon and partsgeek.com and find their sensors by Denso (the manufacturers of the OEM part for Toyota) to be around $50. I usually like to stick to OEM but that is 4 times the price.
My question to you guys is is this Sensor a down stream or upstream Sensor? I see both listed but I'm not sure which one I'm supposed to get. I know this is before the catalytic converter, but its after the engine. Which stream are we talking about here and which part to I get?

Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the upstream sensor, before the cat. Sensor 2 is after the cat. The Denso sensors are OEM and I find Amazon to usually be the best deal.(I have Prime.)

I have prime too. I'll go ahead and order it. Shouldn't be too hard to replace correct?

Not aure if the 97's had two cats or not but check and make sure before you buy as it could be an a/f sensor. Also a trick that works sometimes if you need a part now is to go look at coupons online for say advance auto some have like close to 50 bucks off. Choose in store pickup and pick it up the same day at close to the same price as amazon. Best of luck! Also if your nuts are even semi rusted invest in some irwin nut grippers they will save you so much time. I fought for several hours before i got fed up and bought the set. Took me 2 mins after that to get the nuts off.

No two cats or A/f sensors in '97. All that started in '99.

I have prime too. I'll go ahead and order it. Shouldn't be too hard to replace correct?

If truck is from La. you should not have much problem. If it spent time in the snowbelt, you will need new stainless m8-1.25 nuts as they will have turned to blobs of rust.

I believe it spent most of its life in Tennessee. From what I have seen underneath everything is in good condition and basically no rust.
Also, regarding the catalytic converters....only the California specd 4runners had two. I'll double check but I think I have just one

...and like I said, that started in '99. No need to check.

Ordered Denso and replaced today. Everything went smoothly. I unplugged negative battery cable and let sit for 30 minutes. Cleared CEL. Drove for about 4 miles with no CEL. I'll continue to monitor it. I know it takes several cycles before it comes on....we will see.

Edit: This morning it started fine. Idled a little slower than normal...around 450-500 rpm. After driving 20 miles I turned engine off. Went to turn it back on and it immediately died. Cranked again and it started right up..maybe it is still processing that it has a new O2 Sensor.....
