HELP: Upper control arm rust?

Hi everyone.

I decided to buy an 04 t4r from a rust belt. I was hoping it would be my project car (...let me tell you... It is...). Love it regardless, drove it across the country loaded to the top and towed my FRS with it.

Ive replaces a lot of parts, fixed other, welded stuff, but now I don't know how to approach this ssue .

The actual metal on the stack that has the bolt going through it that holds up upper control arm on passenger side is so rusted that it's falling apart.
I took it to a few welding places and they just scratch their heads at the issue.

Please take a look at these pics and let me know if you have seen this before and how to fix it, if it is possible:

Your help is much appreciated!!!

Wow that's bad. No experience or real advice here. But if I were a welding shop I would wheel away the rust and see what was left to weld to. Might need to cut out of a donor vehicle. Hole you didnt pay much for it. That thing might be totaled if the insurance company finds out

Oh. I overpaid by about 1.5k. lesson learned.

I was thinking donor route too...

Definitely don't want to go the totalled route. Just don't want it getting worse.

It's currently driving like a sexy/wobbly beast just the way I like em
