Help with bolt size...

As the title says I need some help. In my rewire effort try one did not work. So I am going to put all of my relays along the side of the engine bay and need help with what the holes are factory tapped with.

The holes are on the drivers side in between the fuse box and fire wall.

Looks to me like M8-1.25 x 20 mm Hex Bolt. I think you should get Zinc Plated.

(Yeah, I'm not above cheating to win).

probably going to get a handful of metric stuff and see what works.

Unscrew a bracket with a bolt similar to that thread size and see if that screw fits in there. It might be a tight fit cuz the inside of those threads are painted. So you should slowly screw in/unscrew little by little.

6 or 7 or 8 mm

Yea the sizes in there are all over the place. Some are 10mm, some are 6, 7, and 8.

I'm lucky enough to live 5 minutes away from an awesome family owned hardware store. I know everyone that works there and they let me take pretty much anything I want home just to try it. When I was facing a similar situation I just asked them if I could take a bunch of metric sizes out to the truck to see what fits.

So just ended up going to OSH and getting a bunch of different sizes.

And POW found them.

For those that are interested...

They fit.

Now for wiring therapy.

It would have helped if you provided the skew # or the CB #.
