Hi fsroader,

What type of music player source are you using in USB input mode e.g., ipod, Android cell, tablet or other... EDIT: What happens if you play a CD in disk mode, same trouble? Give that a try, that may give a clue if it's Entune or the HU. Try that and post back!

Do you have each song in an individual folder? If you do it may be just seeing the music in that one folder.

There is a RPT on the screen, if repeat is selected there is a bar next to RPT. Touch the RPT is turn off repeat. If that does not work try the reset located in the menu somewhere.

I am using a USB drive with a bunch of songs. It works fine when I let it play in order. If I ask or pick a song it keeps repeating.CD's work fine but I dont think I picked a track yet.I've only had this truck a week or so. I'll try tomorrow.

Hi fsroader,

Okay, there are two fuses in the main fuse/Rly box under the hood labeled 'RAD' for Radio. One is a 10A and the other is a '20A'. The 10A power supply gets disconnected whenever the truck gets turned off.

It's the '20A' circuit that stores the files e.g., radio station presets, temporary files and history logs; that are only used for technical trouble-shooting when the dealership needs to ringout a problem that a customer may have.

If a firmware file gets damaged or corrupted it'll store that to and cause trouble with the proper operation of the audio system; as with any software driven operation system (like a windows laptop computer). By removing that 20A fuse for a minimum of four hours, the system will be forced back to the factory settings... like when it was new!

You can still use the vehicle during the Factory RESET, you just won't have the nav/audio system operating for that short period; I do mine after I know I'm in for the night when needed! So you might give that a try before you spend any time/money hoping for a repair tech to try and figure it out!

If the trouble is with the firmware/software, that should resolve it. If that doesn't do it, then I'd look into your flash drive for compatibility issues... maybe plug in an ipod just to test the system; I'm sure the trouble is one of the two issues, but try the Master RESET first! 'Best to you',

I just spent some time messing with it. It seems to work fine unless I ask the robot to play a certain song. Then it repeats but I can hit browse, pick a song and all is good. I can live with that.
Thanx for all the helpful suggestions.

I can't be sure but it sounds like what Cajun_TRD says :

or...

what PaulB-2006 T4R says, referring to the 'REPEAT' button icon on the screen; likely to be one of those two issues! Please let us know what you find out 'Best to you'

I have music in the USB drive that I loaded into my computer from various sources. It works fine on 2 other cars and several mp3 players.
Definitely not the "repeat".

...sorry fsroader ,

the 20A fuse mentioned; which keeps the HU's processor energized is labeled 'AMP', NOT 'Rad' as is the 10A fuse; I noticed it today while working under the hood, my badd!

Okay, have you removed the 20A fuse labeled 'AMP' as I mentioned in a previous post; Entune and the HU may still need to be RESET!
