Help With Lift Decision

One more thing is that you shouldn't go by what daystar says on the amount of lift. They advertise spacer thickness. At least on the front you gain double the spacer size, so be aware of that.

I didn't know this was true, so the topout spacer kit 2.5/1.5 (advertised), yields 5/3 inches of lift as an end result? I know J.A has the topout/preload spacer so he got about 3/2 even though it's advertised as 2.5/1.5 for his topout/preload.

There is much debate on the topic. That is what I have understood when asking similar questions. I will let someone more knowledgeable confirm this. I know it holds true for the budget boost kit but that's all I looked into in detail.

ok how about this for a lift. I think i would rather do the lift with springs and shocks than use spacers based on ride quality, longetivity (plan on keeping it a long time and dont want settling), and wheel travel. I was thinking this:

Rear:
OME 895 springs with OME N141 shocks

Front:
OME 885 springs with Bilstein adjustable Shock

should yield 2.5 inches in the front, and around 2.0 for the rear (unless i can find a way to get 1.5 for the rear which would be better)

The bilstein shocks are quite a bit cheaper for fronts than the OME shocks, thats the reasoning for that. A complete OME lift is around $800, where as this comes to around $650. What do you guys think, anyone tried it? Dan at wheelers off road said it would work, but i value everyones opinions here as well.
